Grau DNA Project Update

It has been awhile since I posted any new information about the Grau DNA Project. I am so involved with other DNA Projects, the Grau Project tends to take a back seat because of the lack of interest by Grau researchers. The growth of the project has been quite slow, while the growth of other DNA Projects has remained steady. Some of them have really taken off and the flood of genealogists who use Y-DNA as a method of research are now starting to realize wonderful results.

I am not sure if it is a fear of DNA testing, or if it is lack of knowledge of how to go about testing your male relative. It is certainly easy to test. There is nothing malevolent with Y-DNA testing companies and the use of your "junk" Y-DNA to find genetic cousins through comparison of STR markers. Come on Grau genealogists! Take the one step that can really help open doors in your Grau research. The more Grau males who Y-DNA test, the better for all Grau genealogists in the long run.
