Tested at the National Geographic Genographic Project (NGGP)?

You can transfer yourself, your results, and your retained sample to Family Tree DNA.

1. Go to your National Geographic Genographic Project page and Log in using your kit number.
2. On the next page, click on "I acknowledge."
3. On the next page, scroll all the way down to the bottom. You will see "learn more" in small blue letters near the bottom of the page. Click on it and then Check "I agree."
4. Fill out the FTDNA form "Adding Your Record to FTDNA" and click "Continue" You should be able to finish it from there.

Once you have been transferred into FamilyTreeDNA, you will be given access to your FTDNA personal page to manage your results.

1. On your FTDNA page is a blue button labeled "join."

2. Click on that button, select the surname, then select a second gray join button that is lower on the page.

When you have joined the project, the Project Administrator will be notified by FTDNA, and your results will be available for posting on the Project's Results Page.

If you have any problems, you can call or email FTDNA and ask them to transfer you to the project. They can be reached at (713) 868-1438 or FTDNA.

It has been a while since I posted any new information about the Grau DNA Project. I am so involved with other DNA Projects the Grau Project tends to take a back seat because of the lack of interest by Grau researchers.
